WASHINGTON – Hallmark may have a greeting card for just about every occasion, but maybe not one for an ex-president recovering frombypass surgery (search)a month after his birthday.
On Monday, the House got around to wishing formerPresident Clinton (search)a happy birthday. The 42nd president turned 58 on Aug. 19, when Congress was not in session.
The resolution byRep. Carolyn Maloney (search), D-N.Y., was approved on a voice vote.
The former president underwent quadruple bypass heart Sept. 6 at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia. He was released Friday and is recuperating at his home in suburban Chappaqua, N.Y.
